Taxi Driver

"One day a real rain will to wash the dirt and scum off the streets."

The mid-1970's may have been a time of confusion. The Civil Rights Movement had begun to fizzle out into backlashes over school bussing in Boston, the Watergate scandal and the exposure of the Vietnam Papers rocked people's confidence in government and elected officals and New York City's fiscal crisis would forever change the relationship between City Hall and people it supported.

Taxi Driver tells the story of a Vietnam veteran who finds himself alone on the detiorating streets of New York. His exposure to things that upset him on the streets and with the people he meets drives him further into the depths of his mind until he violently explodes.
